Steps

  1. Using the size 15 seed beads create a herringbone stitch bracelet 8 seed beads wide and 6 3/4" long. Finish with tapered brick stitch at both ends.
  2. Use 6 seed beads to stitch a small loop at one end, stitching through shank to attach button. (Fig 1)
  3. Use size 15 seed beads and peyote stitch to form a button loop beginning with 37 beads. For 3rd row, use size 11 seed beads. (This will create a natural curve in the button loop.) Weave in tails at both ends and knot to secure.
  4. Stitch one size 15 bead to center of bracelet 3/4" from the button loop end. Use one more bead to attach one end of the bracelet loop, then another bead to attach other end of button loop. Weave in ends and knot to secure.
