Supplies needed

  • 2    French Hook Ear Wire w/2mm Bead    (90-8120-10)

  • 4    Shell 7mm Bead Cap    (94-5841-12)

  • 2    Mermaid Charm    (94-2554-12)

  • 2    Round Jump Ring 20 Gauge 4mm ID    (01-0024-01)

  • 2    Czech Glass faceted rondelle bead, 6x9mm

  • 22    Gauge craft wire, silver

       

 

Tools

  • chain and/or flat nose pliers (2)
  • round nose pliers
  • flush cutters

Tip: When making the wrapped loops, work at the larger ends of the plier jaws for roomy loops.

Steps

  1. Cut one 3" piece of craft wire. Bend wire at right angle 1" from one end. 
  2. Use round nose pliers to form a large wrapped loop. Trim excess wire.
  3. String one bead cap, one bead and a second bead cap onto straight end of wire. 
  4. Bend wire at right angle after second bead cap and repeat Step 2.
  5. Use tip of chain nose pliers to tuck wire ends in.
  6. Open loop on one ear wire and attach to one end of bead link. Close loop.
  7. Open one jump ring and attach charm to other end of bead link. Close jump ring.
  8. Repeat Steps 1-7 for second earring.
