Tip: This design could easily be done with simple loops and our 22 gauge eye pins instead of craft wire, just make sure the gemstone bead holes are large enough for the wire.

Steps

  1. Open 1 jump ring and attach to charm. Close jump ring. Set aside.
  2. Cut chain into two 3" pieces and two 5" pieces. Open 1 jump and use it to attach the two 3" pieces together. Close jump ring. Set aside.
  3. Cut one 4" piece of craft wire. Fold wire at right angle about 1 1/2" from end and use round nose pliers to begin a wrapped loop. Before wrapping, thread on 1 Reina link. Complete wrap. Trim excess wire and use chain nose pliers to tuck in wire end.
  4. String 1 gemstone bead onto wire. Bend wire tail at right angle allowing about 1/16" between bead and bend. Begin wrapped loop, attaching to jump ring on charm before completing wrap. Trim excess wire and tuck end in. 
  5. Repeat Steps 3-4, attaching to the other side of the first Reina link with the first wrapped loop, and the jump ring connecting the 3" pieces of chain with the second loop.
  6. Repeat Steps 3-4, attaching to the other end of a 3" piece of chain with the first wrapped loop, and a second Reina link with the second wrapped loop. Repeat on other side of necklace.
  7. Repeat Steps 3-4 once more, attaching to Reina link placed in Step 6 with first loop, and one 5" piece of chain with second loop. Repeat on other side of necklace.
  8. Use 1 jump ring to attach clasp bar at 1 end of necklace and 1 to attach clasp ring at other end.
