Tip: The Chakras are energy centers of the body and are represented by different colors. Traditionally they are:

  • CROWN - Violet or violet-white
  • THIRD EYE - Indigo
  • THROAT - Blue
  • HEART - Green
  • SOLAR PLEXUS - Yellow
  • SACRAL - Orange
  • ROOT - Red

Depending on where you look there are different gemstones mentioned for different Chakras. Fortunately Chakra gemstone mixes are widely available! For a longer bracelet string additional 8mm lava beads at beginning and end as needed.

Steps

  1. Cut a 14" piece of stretch cord. (Optional: attach a bead stopper or binder clip at one end.)
  2. String on 6 lava beads, 1 spacer, 1 red gemstone bead, 1 spacer, 1 yellow gemstone bead, 1 spacer, 1 orange gemstone bead, 1 spacer, 1 green gemstone bead, 1 spacer, 1 blue gemstone bead, 1 spacer, 1 indigo gemstone bead, 1 spacer, 1 violet gemstone bead, 1 spacer, Buddha bead, 1 spacer, and 6 lava beads.
  3. Tie the ends together in a surgeon's knot (Fig 1), then tie ends again in an overhand knot. (Tweezers are helpful here!) Tighten securely. Trim ends as desired.
