Tip: Don’t over-flatten the wire—it can become brittle and break. 

Steps

  1. Cut wire into two 4" pieces.
  2. Use round nose pliers to form a simple loop at one end of one wire.
  3. String six beads onto wire.
  4. Use round nose pliers to form simple loop at other end of wire. Turn loop so both wire ends touch the same side of the wire.
  5. Separate the beads so there are three at each end of the wire. 
  6. Taking care that the wire loops point outward, use round nose pliers and your fingers to form a 45-degree bend in center of wire.
  7. Lay wire on bench block. Lightly hammer to flatten and harden, moving beads as you go. Avoid hammering wire loops.
  8. Use one 4x3mm oval jump ring to connect left ring of a 3 Ring Link to left wire loop.
  9. Use one 4x3mm oval jump ring to connect left ring of a 3 Ring Bar to left ring of 3 Ring Link placed in Step 8.
  10. Use one 4x3mm oval jump ring to connect left ring of 3 Ring Bar placed in Step 9 to small loop of 3 Ring Link placed in Step 8.
  11. Use one 4x3mm oval jump ring to connect right ring of 3 Ring Link ink placed in Step 8 to a 1 Ring Link.
  12. Use one 4x3mm oval jump ring to connect right ring of a 3 Ring Link to right wire loop
  13. Use one 4x3mm oval jump ring to connect right ring of 3 Ring Bar placed in Step 9 to right ring of 3 Ring Link placed in Step 12.
  14. Use one 4x3mm oval jump ring to connect right ring of 3 Ring Bar placed in Step 9 to small loop of 3 Ring Link placed in Step 12.
  15. Use one 4x3mm oval jump ring to connect left ring of 3 Ring Link placed in Step 12 to 1 Ring Link placed in Step 11.
  16. Use one 4x3mm oval jump ring to connect one 8mm pendant to bottom of center ring of 3 Ring Bar placed in Step 9.1
  17. Use one round jump ring to connect one 10mm mini pear pendant to bottom of 1 Ring Link placed in Step 11.
  18. Use one 3x2mm oval jump ring to connect one earwire to wire where it bends, between beads.
  19. Repeat all to form second earring.
